Happy Valentine!

Its been almost 2 weeks since Tim Boy Boy had left and went to new place. Kinda still miss him once in a while. So just smsed his new owner asking how is he and the reply got me laughing away. Quote: "Hi hi, ya he is ok. He is very naughty. But i think he is used to it..." Ha ha, new owner say he is very naughty. Wonder what he do?

And now that Tim not around, these 2 became 'good' friends. Dun be fool by this photo. They like to fight a lot too.

Everybody Happy New Year!! Ok i know, its been ages since i last blog. Don't really feel like blogging even thou i have many things i want to document down.

Lets start from the new year. For new year countdown, me, hubby and my close friends went to watch movie 'Yes Man'. It was hilarious show man. Jim Carrey as usual was in his exaggerate acting but what makes the show funny is the other chracters as well as the crazy ideas like Harry Potter/Spartans and photo-taking while running.

The show ends before midnight and so we went to MacDonalds to wait for the countdown. In the end, we just cheers with drinks quietly. The other patrons did not even bother. Guess this is how we like to celebrate. A quiet affair rather than a big happening with people. We totally hate crowds.

New year Day - Me and hubby went for burger king breaskfast, then shopping. Our agenda is a DSLR camera! We went MS, Suntech, Pennisular, Funnan.

So nowadays film camera aside, he is busy shooting with his new DSLR camera.

Oh yeah, this is the first meal i cooked for the year. And i even cooked extra and bring to office the next day. Guess one of my resolution for 2009 is to cook more meals for office lunches. Firstly less costly, secondly healthier i hope.

Look at the artistic job my 2 little niao kia created to welcome me back from HK. Great man these 2 fellows. They tore up pages from the yellow pages book.



Anyway they so manja towards us when they saw us. Guess absence really makes the heart grows fonder. They miss us so much!

Now guess which niao kia is the culprit? I wont know who started it first but my take is both also play a share in contributing that big mess. I spanked them! Naughty naughty!!

And after sweeping all the tisue bits into a pile. This Marabelle bwah long long walk over and 'parked' itself right in the middle of the pile. Guess, she thinks it's such a soft and cosy spot to be wasted away.

Oh man yet another year older wiser. Just a short post on all presents received from loved ones.

Last Sunday, my family celebrated my birthday in advance. We went to a Vegetarian Restaurant. They had everything from curry fish, sweet & sour pork, prawn roll, yam ring etc. But all fake lah. Too bad i forgot take photo, only remember halfway but the food all in a mess already. I took them anyway but it is way too ugly to upload.

Anyway here's a photo of my birthday cake from Gelare. Yum Yum chocolate ice-cream cake...delicious!!




Moi only 10 years old. Yah right. Thats what we all do when we reach a certain age, don't we? Either put on a 1 or 10 year old candle.

On labour day, we chanced upon this cute little kitten sitting on the bench near our block. No sign of its mother. Well we brought it home and now we are proud owners of 2 kitties. Here's a cute photo of Timmy (affectionately called Tim Boy Boy by us)

1) She likes and eats durian
2) She scratches and scars me. Got 2 super long claw marks on my back shoulder. Ouch!
3) She never had a bath for 2 months. But she cleans herself lah.
4) She only poos when the litter pan is clean. Once she poos on the floor besides pan cos pan is dirty. 'Jie2 Pi4 Mao1'
5) She still has a small head thou her body is growing.
6) She is playful, cute & adorable, naughty at times.

Offically 19 more days to go. Minus 4 days exam leave i am applying. So left with 15 more days. Start couuting down! Today finally finished the reports for year end. Now just need to prepare some schedules and i will be done. Hooray!

Haha, this is the latest addition to the 'Pet's World of LAI'. Marabelle will stare at the fish movement probably thinking in her head: " Hmm, is this dinner?"

I tell her:" Fish are friends, not food!"

Start to countdown....people...CNY is around the corner!

Hmm this year my feelings towards CNY is completely different. Cos gotten start giving ang pow lah! Anyway dunno what to expect of CNY this year cos it will be totally different from the past 20 plus years. To me i just look forward to having a long holiday.

Wait till CNY is over and i will most probably tell u its sucks cos i am much poorer instead of gaining quick bucks (without any labour-ous work at all).

PS: Meow meow is offically called Marabelle!

A few days back, saw this kitten at coffee shop. It was brought over from a void deck by an auntie. She said it's mum was nowhere to be seen so hope that by bringing to coffee shop, someone will feed it. Haha we end up bringing it home cos we cant find its mum anyway.

It was so cute. Everyday can see some new developments. Now its quite playful.

Time flies! Its already the 6th day into the new year of 2008 and what have i done differently from 2007. NOTHING! Everyday just seems the same. Aside from resolutions (which i havent make any), I should really think of a goal i want to achieve and a purpose in life to fulfill. Everyone should do that. You too! If u have not already done so. Hmm will think about it and let u know when i have those answers.

Just to backlog a bit. My first meal of 2008 was MacDonald's Big Bfast! Wanted something 'Branded' to headstart the year instead of just bread and butter. Ha Ha. And on new year day, i had a healthy headstart too. Me and Hubby went jogging around our neighbourhood. We ran (rather jogged) from our place, circled 2 rounds of a school and back. Thats about 2.5km i guess. I was feeling great for the rest of the week. BUT sad to say, since then, i havent jog an inch. Bad bad....Tsk tsk, i need more discipline!
